Today we received a wonderful review from Writer's Digest for Emily's novel Moving Pieces: "Moving Pieces by author Emily Maroutian depicts an evocative journey of self-discovery. The protagonist is a depressed, recovering drug-addict who, in pursuit of healing, takes a road trip with a friend. Maroutian shows an interest in language, stringing words together in interesting ways. She created characters who are compelling, and while not necessarily "instantly likable," the reader wants to read more about them. The story concept is intriguing, with enough tension to propel the plot forward. The front cover illustration immediately draws the eye and the back cover does a good job of conveying what the book is about to potential buyers." -Writer's Digest |

The Rainbow Reader blog just posted a great review of Moving Pieces. Here's a little snippet: "The story might be a little heavy for some readers, but its a quick read and well worth the internal dialogue that will invariably clutter your brain. Moving Pieces doesnt sugarcoat the reality of addictive personalities or the brutal honesty required to live with it and survive your "self". Emily Maroutian is a smart, skilled, and gutsy writer, with a unique vision and a story to share. Im giving this novel a 4.9 out of 6 on the Rainbow Scale. It was fascinating, and different, and worth the multiple reads to experience both Narrators."

Emily Maroutian's first book, Drifting has been re-released and is now available on Amazon.com. It was initially published in 2004 by another publishing company. But now we are proud to announce that Emily Maroutian's first book is officially a part of the Maroutian Entertainment family.
To celebrate its fifth anniversary, we have chosen to revamp it. The second revised edition of the book includes a new title, a new cover and an author Q&A at the end of the book. However, the actual text of the book has not been altered. Thank you to all of you who made it a success the first time around. |
