Emily Maroutian Is the owner and founder of Maroutian Entertainment. She was born in Yerevan, Armenia during the Soviet Union in 1984. In 1989, her family received asylum from the U.S. as religious refugees when she was just five years old.  

She majored in Philosophy and Religious Studies in college where she developed a love for eastern philosophy, the source for the main philosophical themes in her books.  

She created Maroutian Entertainment in 2009, through which she publishes her works. In May of 2011, she partnered with b*evolved, where she is currently the Director of Special Projects.
